Words Remain – Josh Garrels

This musical experience is simply beautiful. Often in our digitally cleaned and autotuned age we lose the texture that brings a feel to music. While I love the occasional overdone base it is music like this that takes me to the intimate alone places of my mind. When life sucks we tend toward the things that numb, but we are never intended to remain there. Eventually, as a deer enters a meadow on a cool morning, we must carefully and fully engage with life once again. This song, and the way it is produced here, is the music for engagement.

Kony 2012 Part II

Might this man be stopped differently than Osama bin Laden because of international outcries for justice. Instead of an assassination of his physical body we can assassinate his character, embolden the defenseless, encourage the enslaved to escape, and capture Kony.

For God hears the cries of people.
